3rd shift Deflasher

3rd Shift Machine Operator Training as Deflasher
Shift 3rd Shift 900 PM to 700 AM Monday through Thursday
Overtime Fridays and Saturdays as needed

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Machine Operator on 3rd shift This position will begin as a Deflasher during a minimum 90 day training period Upon successful completion and direct hire employees will transition into a Machine Operator role and receive a 1 dollar per hour pay increase

Starting Pay 22 dollars per hour
Additional Compensation Monthly gainshare bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities
The Press Operator is responsible for operating machinery that molds and forms plastic parts Essential duties include

Understand and follow quality criteria for molded parts
Read and follow process sheets for each part
Inspect molds and surrounding areas for safety and quality compliance
Operate machine controls to mold parts
Monitor presses for leaks or mechanical issues
Remove molded parts and place on appropriate fixtures
Use powered and non powered hand tools to remove flashing drill holes and route openings
Apply glue and install studs or inserts as required
Identify defects and perform minor repairs using tools such as pneumatic sanders
Apply plastic filler to correct imperfections
Move parts between workstations as needed
Clean and lubricate molds molds may be up to 20 feet tall
Work at elevated heights when necessary

Additional Responsibilities
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Inspect tools and report any defects or issues
Rotate to other positions as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

Physical Requirements
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Frequent reaching with both arms
Repetitive gripping with both hands
Use of vibrating tools
Lift or pull up to 50 pounds
Stand and walk for extended periods

Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required
Ability to work overtime as needed
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Willingness to learn and grow into a Machine Operator role
