General Maintenance focuses on safety, equipment reliability, and facility systems, and troubleshooting. Working hands-on work with production machinery, facility systems, and compliance with industry safety standards. Flexibility and cross-shift collaboration required.
Essential Functions:
Support and follow all TFD Safety procedures
Use forklifts, aerial equipment, as well as working from ladders
Support all production and support equipment (CNC, Riello, BTB, Hannifin, Plater, etc.) including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs
Follow written standard work procedures
Attend training classes as required to enhance all skill levels to support the TFD operation both off-site and on-site and complete within specified timeframe
Ability to work closely with others and be a team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and follow/apply the following skills:
All OSHA, ANSI and NFPA-70E Rules and Regulations
Electrical skills as per National Electrical code (NEC)
TFD maintenance software tracking system
Fabrication and safe welding skills
Facility HVAC, electrical, compressed air, and gas systems
Perform all types of plumbing work; hydraulic, pneumatic, water, conduit, etc.
Troubleshooting and schematic reading of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Eaton plant boiler operation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must have strong understanding of TFD CNC/Plating process and related equipment.
Electrical maintenance certification preferred.
Must be able and willing to work any shift as required to support all plant operations and projects in Eaton or Lewisburg.
Must have own tools.
