As a 3rd Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you'll be responsible for manually packaging, labeling, and visually inspecting finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards. You'll work closely with the manufacturing supervisor to maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
As a 3rd Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for
Performing hand packaging and labeling of finished products according to established specifications.
Conducting detailed visual inspections of labels, packaging, and finished goods to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Performing packaging-line activities including assembly, disassembly, preparation, and adjustments of labeling and packaging equipment.
Manually labeling and packaging finished goods when automated equipment is unavailable.
Following proper cleanroom gowning procedures when entering and exiting designated areas.
Accurately completing and maintaining batch records, forms, logbooks, and other production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
Properly labeling and disposing of hazardous waste from the packaging floor.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, including packaging equipment, inspection machines, and tools.
Assisting other manufacturing team members as needed.
Following all applicable SOPs, GMP, ISO, safety, and quality requirements.
Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cleanroom experience is REQUIRED.
Hands-on experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Experience with hand packaging, labeling, visual inspection, or regulated manufacturing is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product or packaging defects.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Good manual dexterity and initiative.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stand continuously for two or more hours.
Ability to work safely and properly use material-moving equipment as required.
Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Ability to consistently work an overnight/3rd shift schedule.
