PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations during assigned shifts to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This role provides leadership and direction to production employees while coordinating daily operations, resolving production issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in compliance with company procedures and IATF 16949 standards.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
•Associate degrees in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
•2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
•Experience in plastic injection molding or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
•Working knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
•Strong leadership and team management skills.
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
•Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, moving machinery, and varying noise levels typical of a plastics injection molding facility. Work may occur in areas without full climate control where temperatures can fluctuate depending on seasonal conditions and production processes. Employees are required to follow all workplace safety policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
