3rd Shift Lead

We're looking for an experienced 3rd Shift Lead in the steel industry who thrives in a fast-paced fabrication environment, values safety and quality, and can motivate a team to perform at its best

Schedule: 11:30 PM - 7:00 AM Full-time Position

What You'll Do

• Lead production personnel to ensure safe, efficient steel fabrication operations

• Coordinate with Production Planning, Purchasing, and Management to ensure materials and drawings are available when needed

• Maintain production schedules while meeting quality and safety standards

• Support, mentor, and hold team members accountable for performance and workmanship

• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

• Ensure effective communication and shift handoffs between departments and personnel

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of steel fabrication experience

• Prior supervisory or lead experience required

• Strong knowledge of welding, fitting, and structural steel fabrication processes

• Ability to read and interpret structural steel detail drawings

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship

• Welding experience preferred

• Crew management experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling

• Operate powered industrial equipment and vehicles

• Work in a fabrication environment with noise, dust, moving equipment, temperature fluctuations and changing conditions

• Maintain strong visual awareness, including depth perception and attention to detail
