As a 3rd Shift Machine Operator (Plating), you'll role purpose . You'll work closely with manager, department, or team to deliver results that make a difference.
What You'll Do As a 3rd Shift Machine Operator (Plating), you will be responsible for
- Set up, operate, and tend plating/coating machines to ensure proper application on metal parts.
- Inspect finished parts for defects such as uneven coverage, air bubbles, or surface imperfections.
- Measure electroplating thickness using micrometers and other measuring tools to meet specifications.
- Adjust machine controls (temperature, processing, and speed) to maintain quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on tanks, filtration systems, and plating equipment to keep production running smoothly.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly for safety and operational requirements.
- Comfort working around chemicals or hazardous materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
