Full-Time 3rd Shift Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in precision manufacturing and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various production machinery while ensuring all products meet our rigorous quality standards. This position plays a critical role in our manufacturing operations, contributing directly to our production goals and customer satisfaction.

As a 3rd Shift Machine Operator, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, safety consciousness, and technical proficiency are essential. You will be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence in production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Set up, operate, and monitor various production machines and equipment according to established procedures and work instructions
• Read and interpret technical documents including blueprints, schematics, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Adjust machine settings and controls to optimize production efficiency while maintaining quality standards
• Perform machine changeovers between different product runs efficiently and accurately
• Monitor machine operations continuously to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products according to production schedules
• Maintain production output targets while ensuring zero compromise on quality
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment
• Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Document quality inspection results and maintain accurate production records
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products and notify supervisors of quality issues immediately
