Machine Operator - 3rd Shift (differential offered)

Position Summary

Operates machines to produce parts to specification in an efficient and timely manner.\u202f\u202f\u202f The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. Works with CNC and Metal team on secondary process production of medical devices. Specifically in silicone waterjet, metal tumble, and plastic pacification functions.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing/drawings and program hardcopy.
  • Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production.\u202f
  • Ability to perform entry-level problem-solving skills.\u202f
  • Ability to run one\u202for more\u202fmachine types.\u202f
  • Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area.\u202f

Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience/Educational/Training Preferred

  • 0 \u2013 2 years' experience preferred working in a manufacturing environment.\u202f\u202f

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to load and run machine.\u202f
  • Strong team player and flexible to move from one task to another.\u202f
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\u202f
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.\u202f
  • Read, write clearly, and follow written procedures.\u202f
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.\u202f
  • Knowledge and ability to utilize standard measuring equipment.\u202f
  • Basic computer skills.\u202f\u202f\u202f
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
