Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the work of the Maintenance Mechanics in their assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate resources with the fellow 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift crew leaders to ensure the entire plant runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Along with 3rd shift Mechanics, ensures an on time start up of production lines.
  • Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance work order completion in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with production/support department Team Leaders to address ongoing concerns.
  • Maintain equipment in a safe manner and follow all Request Foods safety procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining cost control by efficient use of spare parts.
  • Ability to correct timecards and email daily recaps of workday.
  • Coordinate and assist contractors with projects pertaining to maintenance.
Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills
  • Candidate with previous lead person experience is required
  • Good math and reading skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair:
    1. Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic
