At Tag Systems in Eatontown, NJ, we're hiring a full-time 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician who believes in building more than just a career. You'll work during the quiet night hours, joining us from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday with occasional overtime or Saturday work as needed to keep operations smooth. In exchange, you'll earn $55,000-$65,000 plus a 2% shift differential.

AS OUR 3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL...

  • Follow a preventative maintenance plan to keep production equipment in good condition and prevent breakdowns
  • Inspect machinery, diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, and perform the appropriate repairs, replacements, and maintenance
  • Comply with all company safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Quickly repair faulty equipment, replace broken parts, and set up new machinery
  • Resolve equipment breakdowns safely and promptly
  • Properly remove old equipment
  • Record the repairs you perform, your spare parts, and daily maintenance activities
  • Provide technical support and equipment training to staff

DO YOU BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • Documented experience as a mechanical or electrical maintenance technician
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Solid understanding of equipment safety procedures and best practices
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to learn more and keep growing
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred - Experience repairing/maintaining printing or packaging machinery
