Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a dependable Warehouse/Operator to support plant operations by safely handling materials, fulfilling orders, and maintaining an organized work environment.
Physical Requirements: Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position) Function in the Job: Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function:
- Pull, package, and prepare orders based on work/shipping instructions
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and yard trucks
- Perform quality checks and ensure proper material tagging
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
Required Skills:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Warehouse or material handling experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM 5 Days (8-hour shifts)
Pay: $17–$20/hr + $5 shift differentialSunday evening start at 9:30pmNote to Applicants:
