Hire Dynamics of Concord is NOW hiring for Warehouse Package Handlers for a national distribution company in the Concord area.
Shift and Pay for the package handler/ sorter:
Sun, Mon, Wed-Fri 5pm-3am- $18/hr
Job Duties for the package handler/sorter:
- Sort and process all incoming mail and parcels, aligning with designated area requirements and maintaining our high-quality standards.
- Ensure sorting and processing targets are met or exceeded consistently.
- Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches the address zip code.
- Operating sorting machinery which may include loading cardboard boxes (Gaylords) and/or bins and rapidly placing mail/parcels onto conveyors.
- Scan labels and maintain workstation.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Flexibility to adapt to different operational areas as needed to support the business.

Experience Requirements for the package handler/sorter:
- Walk, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. (additional weight may be required with assistance)
- Reach overhead, squat, bend or kneel most of the work shift.
- Climb stairs and/or step ladder.
- Transport mail utilizing pallet jack.
- This is a warehouse environment where frequently this position will be exposed to cold, hot, and changing temperatures; will constantly experience noise at medium level not damaging or loud enough to require protective equipment; will frequently be exposed to dust, dirt, and changes in lighting.
