Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dependable Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team in Dahlonega, GA. This position is responsible for preparing metal parts, applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets production standards. The ideal candidate has experience in powder coating or industrial painting and takes pride in producing quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare metal parts by cleaning, sanding, or blasting surfaces before coating.
Hang and remove parts from racks or conveyor systems.
Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment.
Inspect coated parts for complete coverage, quality, and defects.
Load coated parts into curing ovens and monitor the curing process.
Perform final quality inspections after parts have cooled.
Maintain spray equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
Experience using spray equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around heat and industrial equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
