Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a 3rd ShiftPowder Coater Technician for an 12-month+ Contract to Hire role. 40 hour work week - 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday)
Position Description
Paints and uses powder operations to properly prepare components that may include sub-assemblies and all other related components in order to contribute to completion of a variety of products. Adheres to quality and quantity standards and follows directions to meet part specifications.
- Component Preparation: Put parts onto racks, load parts onto the continuous line, and apply precise masking, plugs, or caps according to technical specifications.
- Coating Application: Apply paint and powder processes according to product blueprints, and set automated or manual equipment for proper tolerances, color, and feed rates.
- Quality Control: Unload completed parts, racks, and hooks from the line while conducting visual inspections for defects like light coverage or contamination.
- Operational Excellence: Complete mandatory training documentation, participate in preventative line maintenance, and actively support team-based scrap reduction and safety programs.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Prior manufacturing, factory, or warehouse experience is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to continuously lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs throughout the duration of the shift.
- Flexibility: Willingness to meet strict work schedules and business-driven overtime demands, including weekends.
