Looking for a hands-on manufacturing job with a consistent overnight schedule? Penmac Staffing is hiring Production Associates for a full-time, 3rd shift opportunity with a Springfield-area manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in the preparation, blending, packaging, and handling of nutritional ingredients and specialty materials in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay: $20.27/hour
Shift: Full-time, 3rd Shift
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AMRequirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous manufacturing experience and/or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to wear a respirator in designated work areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Prepare, blend, and package production materials
- Screen, blend, and package amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and allergen-containing ingredients
- Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and warehouse areas according to established procedures
- Perform routine inspections and equipment maintenance
- Load and unload boxes, drums, and materials from transportation vehicles
- Collect retention samples while following sterile handling procedures
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely when moving materials throughout the facility
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Maintain productivity in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment
