A Day In The Life

+ Confirm work-order is correct

+ Confirm all required materials are hands-on

+ Confirm correct set-up of all equipment is current

+ Calibration of all equipment and test equipment is current

+ Confirm finished product meets all quality requirments

+ Complete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing parts

+ Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standards

+ Monday -Friday 11pm-7:00am

Job Overview

+ Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machine in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates.

+ Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using the Hubbell Utility Solutions Quality Operating Principles.

What will help you thrive in this role?

+ High School Diploma

+ Use of basic hand tools

+ Basic math and computer skills

+ Good communication, reading and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently, as well as with others

+ Willingness to support other operations or departments as needed

+ Must be comfortable wearing standard PPE

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

+ Gripping repeatedly with good physical dexterity

+ Constant walking and standing for a 8 to 10 hour shifts

+ Reaching, pulling, bending, stooping and twisting
