3rd Shift Production Lead
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: 11pm-7am Monday-Friday (OT on weekends)
Pay: $18/hour **Paid weekly**

Overview
The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting assembly, testing, and inspection operations in accordance with documented Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs). This role assists with workstation setup, material flow, quality standards, and employee training while working closely with the Lead Line Coordinator and Shift Supervisor to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and 12-hour shifts as required by production needs.
Responsibilities
Train and onboard new employees on production processes, safety procedures, and job expectations
Monitor line production and coordinate employee rotations to maintain efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Understand all positions on the production line and be able to perform each role effectively
Perform basic equipment adjustments and minor repairs as needed
Ensure operators remain stocked with materials and supplies to support continuous production
Serve as an effective floor material handler and support machine operations as needed
Demonstrate strong safety awareness and actively contribute safety suggestions and improvements
Assist in maintaining quality and production standards throughout the shift
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bilingual in Spanish and English-preferred but not required
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
Minimum of 1 year of leadership, lead, or training experience
Experience in shop floor management within a lean manufacturing environment preferred
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing techniques
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Ability to read and understand English, including work instructions, measurements, quantities, and production documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays, as required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the shift
