Description

The 3rd Shift Production Lead is responsible for leading production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals while supporting and developing team members on the production floor.

3rd Shift Hours: 10PM-6AM

Pay: $27-29/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, coaching employees, and supporting accident investigations.
  • Ensure associates are properly trained and qualified for their assigned positions.
  • Maintain product quality standards by monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, and supporting audits and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate labor and production activities to meet customer requirements and plant performance goals.
  • Monitor line efficiency, reduce waste, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee production line setups, equipment operation, and workflow performance.
  • Communicate production priorities, performance expectations, and operational updates throughout each shift.
  • Support issue resolution, escalate concerns as needed, and drive accountability across production teams.
  • Assist with implementation of plant SQPC initiatives and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing leadership or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety practices.
  • Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
