Job Title: Production Operator (3rd shift)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043
Duration: 3+ Months (CTH)
Pay Rate: $20/hr W2

Qualifications:
Production Operator:

• As a key member of our manufacturing process, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

In this role, you will:

• Operate and maintain various production equipment, including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, maskers, and brazing stations. Prepare and mix materials according to specifications.
• Load and unload parts and materials from equipment.
• Monitor and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Year of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions and specifications
• Ability to sit/stand/bend/twist/lift +25lbs for periods of 8-hours, or longer
• Ability to work OT when necessary, including weekends
• Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Ability to accurately interpret blueprints
• Ability to work in process documents as needed
• Knowledge of chemical powders processing required
• Ability to accurately transfer information and data
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Lean skills continually drives process improvements
• Team building skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass various tests including annual furnace exams.
• Must perform duties correctly and meet performance standards within the first six months of position and become a certified working furnace operator
• Must be certified in at least two furnace operations within a six month period
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to operate two types of furnaces including the following: coating/vacuum furnaces, and/or coating/CVD furnaces.
• Load and unload furnaces, read and check furnace charts.
• Dry hone components.
• Complete logbooks accurately and thoroughly.
• Change thermocouples.
• Document travelers correctly after operations have been performed.
• Follow and utilize lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain, implement and improve 5-S Principles.
• Perform general departmental housekeeping.
• Sustain production standards and quality.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required.
• Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist in surveying when needed.
