Experience / Education
· Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in packaging or related manufacturing
· Experience with SQF / Food Safety Programs required
· Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
Document daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data
Must be skilled with managing and directing employees daily, shift size is up to 25+ employees
Oversee Bottle Packer, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics, work with conjunction with Warehouse, Customer Service, SQF Practioner, Production Manager, Maintenace Manager, HR Manager, and Plant Manager
Attention to detail is required, Supervisor oversees all traceablity paperwork and ensures product is documented accurately
Correct and report any unsafe conditions
Train all employees on your shift
Maintain scheduling of production to meet customer needs and maintain the lowest possible labor/overtime costs
Review and calculate employee timecards daily, via Paychex system
Provide coaching and discipline to employees under guidance of Human Resources
