SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Inspector is directly responsible for incoming components, in-process manufacturing, finished goods, and post-sterilization inspections. The QC Inspector will also be responsible for assisting in developing new inspection methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects incoming components
Inspects in-process manufacturing
Inspects products entering facility (returns, post-sterilization product)
Inspects printed labels (margins, inking mistakes)
Inspects packaging & applied labeling
Prints and folds labels as needed
Prints and applies stickers (accepted, released)
Identify and dispose of non-conformities
Writes Non-Conforming Material Reports
Correctly fill out QC inspection forms and other documents
Balance work loads between areas to keep operations running smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required *must be able to provide diploma/GED or transcripts*
Skills Ability to see small differences in mass produced product, ability to write legibly, speak and understand English.
Previous QC Experience preferred, this is not an entry level position
