Join Our Team as a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform thorough visual and physical inspections on production lines, identifying defects or inconsistencies.
  • Review and approve product samples prior to mass production to guarantee excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations.
  • Document and report inspection results, highlighting discrepancies and corrective actions.
  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing quality.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment for optimal accuracy.
  • Assist in training new QC personnel and provide ongoing support.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality inspections and contribute to corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment (2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, testing methods, and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Certification from recognized quality assurance or control organizations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or higher in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work night shifts.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights as needed.
  • Valid certification as a Quality Inspector is a plus.
