3rd SHIFT SECURITY GUARD

(Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

HOURS:

• 6:00 pm. - 6:00 am. - (12 Hour Shifts)

Brief Description:

JBS in Worthington, MN is hiring for an overnight shipping security coordinator who is a self- motivated & able to work under minimal supervision at our guard shack. This position is responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed to enter facility, and signing trucks in & out; other duties as assigned. Works both indoor & outdoor in all weather conditions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor
• Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic
• Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations
• Enter Available and Outbound times into Shop Floor
• Maintain Outbound Logs
• Weigh and maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
• Assist with Security, as needed
• May work as needed as back up for Load Planners
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent computer skills required
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent People Skills
• Great work ethic
• Ability to work in a high stress environment
• Great communication skills - written and verbal
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Good attendance record
• Resume required
• Must have a valid class D driver''s license
• Resume required

Working Conditions: Security Guard Shack, hot and cold conditions

• REQUIRED: Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base hourly salary range of: $21.00-21.60
