Job Title: 4-12 Art Teacher Reports To: Kaleb Farnham, 9-12 Principal, Athletic Director Posting Date: 3.25.2026 Closing Date: Until filled. Wages/Benefits: Per Master Agreement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to the position.
• Michigan State Certification as an art education teacher (LQ).
• Secondary teaching experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
• Knowledge of a wide range of art subject areas, including drawing, painting, photography, and other mediums.
• Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
• Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, administration, and families.
