Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient van driver to join our team for a part-time position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently within designated routes. Responsibilities

• Operate a company van to transport goods to various locations as per the scheduled routes.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Assist in inventory management and organization of goods within the van.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
