What Youll Do
Support cardiac catheterization procedures, including TAVR, device placements, and peripheral interventions
Prepare the lab and operate essential imaging and diagnostic equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure patient safety during procedures
Document patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and procedure details accurately
Assist the medical team with patient positioning and equipment setup
Support department operations by managing supplies and participating in safety protocols
Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures
Collaborate effectively with physicians and team members to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
What You Need
Required:
Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology or healthcare-related program (Associate's degree or higher preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications
State licensure based on modality (e.g., Louisiana LRT)
Preferred:
0-1 year of acute care experience
Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT modalities, with lapsed ARRT certifications qualifying under LSRTBE exemption
