• Hours/week: Full-time
• Employment Type: Temporary assignment, possibility for temp-to-perm
• License/Certs: LA Pharmacist license, BLS/ACLS required
• Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $87.10/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and dispense medication orders accurately per physician requests
• Interpret and verify drug orders into the electronic medical record system
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including sterile and non-sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition
• Issue-controlled substances and maintain compliance records
• Monitor and verify medication therapy for appropriateness and safety
• Maintain current pharmacist licensure and complete required CE hours
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify technician activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide optimal pharmacy services
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for regulatory compliance
• Support medication safety initiatives and participate in quality improvement activities

What You Need:

• LA Pharmacist license (required)
• BLS or ACLS certification (required)
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and manage multiple priorities
