Shift: Days, 12 hours (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Hours/week: Approximately 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
License/Certs: RN License in LA or compact license, BLS required
Experience: 1+ year in MedSurg preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $58.96/hour

What Youll Do:
Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical and neuro patients on a MedSurg unit
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
Monitor patient responses and document clinical information accurately
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on health management
Support a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments
Adhere to hospital dress code (Ceil Blue scrubs)
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or valid compact license
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
