What Youll Do:
- Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg unit with a focus on post-surgical, orthopedic, general surgery, and neuro patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Monitor for side effects and effectiveness of treatments
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess patient and family educational needs and provide appropriate teaching
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Float as needed across similar units to support staffing
What You Need:
- Required:
- RN license in the state of employment or valid compact state license
- BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Preferred:
- Epic EMR experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Ability to float across units as needed
