What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical patients, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side-effects
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately
  • Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
  • Coordinate care plans and collaborate with healthcare team members
  • Assist in meeting patient safety and quality standards
  • Float to other units as needed to support staffing


What You Need
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • 1+ year of recent MedSurg RN experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and delegation skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
