What You’ll Do

• Provide routine and complex nursing care in the operating room setting
• Assess patient condition and plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and procedures accurately
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-op care
• Delegate and coordinate tasks to support staff as appropriate

What You Need
Required:

• BLS certification (AHA)
• RN license (state of employment or compact privilege)
• 1+ year of experience in surgical or perioperative nursing preferred

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
