What You'll Do
  • Provide bedside care for cardiac patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med surg overflow
  • Manage and monitor cardiac drips and administer treatments per protocol
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient histories, medication administration, and clinical assessments accurately
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing care needs
  • Respond to patient emergencies and provide complex nursing interventions as needed
  • Float to other units as required within scope and facility policies

What You Need
Required:
  • RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • ACLS certification from AHA
  • 1+ year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac units

Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience handling cardiac drips and complex patient cases
