What Youll Do
Provide specialized telemetry nursing care for adult patients with cardiac conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and overflow med-surg care
Monitor and manage cardiac drips without titration, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy
Assess patients conditions, document vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses
Administer medications and treatments per protocol, observing for side effects
Educate patients and families about their care plans and health needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Float when needed to other units within competency, supporting hospital operations
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or an equivalent compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Minimum 1-year experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
