What You’ll Do
  • Provide advanced respiratory care for adult patients in a hospital setting
  • Manage ventilators, including setup and monitoring
  • Perform patient assessments and implement respiratory therapy plans
  • Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy
  • Support airway management, including suctioning and device placement
  • Analyze blood gases, perform EKGs, and assist with pulmonary function testing
  • Respond to emergency codes (e.g., Code Blue) effectively
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and unit surveys
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care


What You Need
  • Valid RRT and RCP license in Louisiana
  • BLS certification through AHA
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong technical skills in ventilator management, airway support, and pulmonary diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent documentation and communication capabilities
