Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients in a rehabilitation setting
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in status to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe functional activities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Colorado
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work full-time day shift hours in an onsite rehabilitation environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in an inpatient or acute rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with rehabilitation-focused electronic medical record (EMR) systems
