What You’ll Do
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to a diverse patient population, including newborns to geriatrics
  • Monitor and assess patient status, including critical care transfer patients
  • Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring side effects and effectiveness
  • Document patient history, symptoms, and interventions accurately
  • Educate patients and family members on care plans and post-discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
  • Adapt to a variety of cases including orthopedics, general surgery, vascular, ENT, urology, and breast reconstructions

What You Need
Required:
  • Active Louisiana or applicable compact RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications from AHA
  • At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts and adapt to varying schedules

Preferred:
  • Experience in PACU or perioperative settings
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
