What Youll Do
- Provide routine and complex nursing care for Medical/Surgical patients during night shifts
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers, addressing needs and concerns
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs and safety standards
- Manage patient ratios of 6:1, ensuring quality care and safety
What You Need
- Required:
- RN License in Louisiana or Compact state
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of relevant Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience working night shifts and in fast-paced environments
