• Shift: Days (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM) – 8 hours shift
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent potential
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RN License (state or compact)
• Experience: 1+ year in acute care setting preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Provide independent nursing care in the Operating Room and Surgical units
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases including pain management, ENT, urology, gynecology, podiatry, general surgery, and some orthopedic procedures
• Administer medications and treatments adhering to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, surgical procedures, and care activities accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families pre- and post-operatively
• Manage contingencies and prioritize patient safety

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or a compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar surgical/nursing setting

Preferred:

• Experience in operating room or perioperative nursing
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
