45178 Automotive Technician - Main Shop Tech

Jim Riehl’s Friendly Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Lapeer, MI is hiring a Main Shop Technician to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Perform work with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose any malfunction and determine root cause
• Communicate with Service Advisors & Parts Department to quote and perform proper repairs
• Road-Test vehicles as required
• Keep shop areas neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools

Job Requirements:

• State certified Mechanic. ASE certified and/or dealership experience preferred
• Three (3) years automotive repair experience
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
• Must pass drug screen
