As a Staff Research Associate 1, you will support laboratory research focused on stem cell metabolism, mitochondrial biology, bioengineering, and B lymphocyte development. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques in a collaborative research environment. Duties include:
xe2x80xa2tPerform tissue culture to maintain mammalian primary cells, established cell lines, and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines
xe2x80xa2tConduct DNA, RNA, and protein extractions and related assays, including qPCR and Western blotting
xe2x80xa2tUtilize flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and microscopy techniques
xe2x80xa2tAssist with data analysis and interpretation
xe2x80xa2tMaintain accurate digital laboratory records
xe2x80xa2tPrepare figures and data for presentations and publications
xe2x80xa2tProvide general technical and laboratory support as needed

xe2x80xa2tBachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience (e.g. experience with cellular and molecular biology techniques such as tissue culture, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, PCR, and Western blotting)
xe2x80xa2tAbility to work alternative shifts based on operational needs
