Iola-Scandinavia is seeking a passionate and creative Elementary Art Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education, a love for working with elementary-aged students, and the ability to inspire and nurture creativity in the classroom.
The candidate should
- Develop and implement age-appropriate art curriculum for elementary students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages artistic expression.
- Teach fundamental art techniques and concepts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into cross-curricular activities.
- Plan and organize art exhibitions or showcases to celebrate students'' artistic achievements.
- Foster a love for art and creativity by incorporating engaging and hands-on activities.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
