About the Role:
The Goddard School of Waunakee, WI is looking for a passionate and dedicated 4K Lead Teacher to inspire young minds during one of the most important stages of their development. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for 4K students
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Observe, assess, and document each child's developmental progress and milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom setting
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators to uphold Goddard School standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Experience working with preschool or 4K-aged children in a licensed childcare or educational setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Must meet Wisconsin state licensing requirements for lead teacher qualifications
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
