The 4K Wrap Around Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate before- and/or after-school program for 4K students. This position supports children's social, emotional, and physical development while complementing the school-day 4K program. The Lead Teacher also provides guidance to support staff and maintains a positive, nurturing environment for all children.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
Create a welcoming, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Provide positive behavior guidance and support children's social skills
Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and program administration
Supervise and support assistant staff or aides as assigned
Maintain attendance records and required documentation
Follow all program policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
Assist with daily routines such as snack time, transitions, and clean-up
