Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in required subject areas.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, including small-group and individualized instruction.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong study skills.
- Create a safe, organized classroom environment that encourages a love of learning.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Prepare for and participate in parent conferences and collaborative meetings.
- Support students' spiritual development and model Catholic values.
- Supervise students and promote positive behavior in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school committees.
- Comply with all areas addressed in the contract and policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.
Qualifications
- Valid teaching license or currently pursuing a plan of study.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
