Duties

4th Grade Classroom Teacher

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered 4th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position includes teaching a self-contained classroom of 4th grade students, along with serving as the homeroom teacher. We are looking for a teacher who can build strong relationships, maintain clear expectations, and contribute positively to a collaborative school culture rooted in Catholic values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject areas
• Create a structured, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Serve as a homeroom teacher and support student development
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to support school-wide goals
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Uphold the mission and values of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois teaching license (or working toward licensure)
• Commitment to Catholic education and values

Salary/Benefits

$34,500 - 85,000 based on educational level and experience
