A Classroom Where the Work Matters Every Day
Fourth grade is a year of steady growth for students. They are gaining independence while still needing encouragement, structure, and a teacher who helps them stay connected to the work. Each day brings chances to build confidence, strengthen skills, and create a classroom where students feel ready to participate.
At Nine Mile Falls Elementary, this work matters because students are continuing to grow as learners. A teacher in this role helps them read with more confidence, solve problems with patience, and understand that mistakes are part of learning. Some days will be busy. Others will call for flexibility. Through it all, students benefit from a teacher who is consistent, thoughtful, and present.
You will be part of a school where people pay attention to one another. Colleagues share the work, families trust the school to support their children with care, and students benefit from the relationships built throughout the year. This role is a place to teach with purpose, support a classroom community, and help fourth graders move into the year ahead with growing confidence.
