Position Summary
The 4th Year Electrical Apprentice will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Analyze electrical issues and communicate technical information effectively.
Follow all industry safety practices, procedures, and company policies.
Monitor and verify quality control standards to ensure consistency and accuracy of work.
Complete assigned electrical tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Read and prepare proposals, business correspondence, schedules, reports, and technical procedures.
Measure, cut, bend, and thread electrical raceways, conduit, and wire using proper electrical tools and equipment.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers, contractors, and team members.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
Current Utah Electrical Apprentice License (required).
Completion of or enrollment in a 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
