A Cleveland precision machining manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC 5‐Axis Milling Operator to run complex, tight‐tolerance production on modern vertical milling equipment. This role focuses on print‐to‐part machining, tool and fixture changes, and producing small, high‐accuracy components for demanding industries.

Responsibilities
• Set up and operate 5‐axis vertical mills for tight‐tolerance precision part production
• Perform tool changes, fixture adjustments, offsets, and first‐article verification
• Read and interpret detailed engineering prints and follow print‐to‐part workflows
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools
• Maintain tooling, workholding, documentation, and a clean machining environment
• Collaborate with leads and programmers to improve processes and part quality

Qualifications
• 3 or more years of CNC milling experience, including 5‐axis vertical mill operation
• Strong understanding of tight‐tolerance machining and precision measurement
• Ability to perform setups, tool changes, and fixture adjustments independently
• Experience with Fanuc‐based controls or similar platforms
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
