Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our maintenance department in a fast-paced production environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing preventive maintenance programs, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment and facility operations remain safe, efficient, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the daily activities of the maintenance department.
Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and production equipment.
Schedule maintenance work to minimize production downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and equipment documentation.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, GMP, GAP, and company safety standards.
Coordinate contractors for specialized repairs and facility projects.
Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians.
Assist with facility improvements and capital projects.
Respond to equipment failures, emergency repairs, and weather-related facility needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or a similar industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of:
Mechanical systems
Electrical systems
HVAC
Plumbing
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs.
Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and reaching.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
