What You’ll Do:

As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures, support a multidisciplinary team, and ensure smooth patient flow. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, participating in quality assurance, maintaining safety standards, and staying current with technical advancements. Flexibility is key—you may work different shifts or at different locations to meet institutional needs, always committed to delivering high-quality imaging services with professionalism and compassion.

Required Skills:
  • Active Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
  • State licensure if applicable (e.g., New Mexico)
  • MRT certification by MIRTP NMED
  • Current BLS certification from AHA
  • Proven experience in clinical or hospital radiology settings
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with PACS systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with MRI safety protocols and screening procedures
  • Knowledge of PACS downtime procedures and equipment maintenance
  • Additional imaging certifications or specialized training
  • Prior travel experience or ability to adapt quickly to new environments

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology technology program
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
  • Prior experience working in hospital or outpatient imaging settings

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days with early and late hours
  • Willingness to travel and work at multiple campuses as needed
  • Compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies
